nicolemarietherese: We’re re-watching Let’s Kill Hitler because we hate ourselves it’s part of the show so we have to. I’ll tell you right now, Moffat should go to Stormcage for turning one of his best characters into a Mary Sue. I just spent ten minutes writing how much this episode pisses me off. But I stopped. and edited it down to the below: It is so disappointing to watch the creation of a compelling, interesting character with a potentially complex back story and then watch that character be made simplistic and shallow and then attempt to wrap up 95% of that potentially complex backstory in some unearned sentiment AND watch the slamming the door on any future potential of playing with the character in new and interesting… all in less than an hour. Done. Moving on.
