Sadness.

Winston taught me the trick of pressing both buttons to get the elevator to respond. I know that isn’t a big thing and everyone probably knew it… but it made me feel special.

And many a days I would be in a grouchy mood heading to class or practice and just not feel like I was worth being funny. I would enter the lobby and he would smile and seem like he was just ahppy to see me and my mood would start shift.
